Our client is a leading and established motor dealership with interests across East Anglia. They have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Dealer Principal.
The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record of driving sales across a motor dealership, including used vehicles and aftersales services.
You will be able to demonstrate, using verifiable data, your ability to manage a sales team and motivate them to achieve their targets, and go beyond.
You will be a "detail person" able to manage the minutiae of a complex motor sales and aftersales operation and be able to answer any question posed by those entitled to ask. Tight controls and discipline in terms of adherence to set procedures will be your forte. Change management where systems are not functioning correctly, or results are not as they should be, will areas where you can demonstrate outstanding success.
Working with a Brand Manager and an Aftersales Manager reporting directly to you and controlling a direct sales force you will be used to running a tight ship - managed to the Nth degree and producing and surpassing targets set by the company and manufacturers.
This is not
a role for an aspiring or ambitious sales person - it would be a step too far and you will not have the sales management skills within the motor trade to support your application.
